MISSING SURVEILLANCE FOOTAGE?

Finally after all of the following... in 2018 Chief Timothy Altomare announces that the missing footage was deleted

But the first question was is how does a 27 year veteran of the Anne Arundel County police department fail to follow standard operating procedures and make a master copy of surveillance tapes from multiple camera's on which a young girl dies?. In the one page report he writes the incident date wasn't even correct
