In Memory of Katherine Sarah  Morris 3/11/90 to 5/6/2012
 
 

Katherine Sarah Morris, affectionately known as "Kat", 22, of California, MD, passed away on Sunday, May 6, 2012. She was born Sunday, March 11, 1990 in Baltimore, Maryland to Pastors Willie J. Morris and Marguerite R. Morris. Katherine (Kathy) received her education in the St. Mary's and Anne Arundel County Public Schools. She graduated H.S. from St. Mary's Ryken and went on to attend the University of Maryland, earning a Bachelor's of Science Degree in Family Services. Kathy loved cooking, reading, working with children, and dressing her pet dogs in clothing. She also did an enormous amount of volunteer work. Kathy leaves to cherish her precious memories her mother, Rev. Marguerite Morris; (her father Pastor Willie J. Morris has since joined her in glory), three sisters, Jomeka Morris, Charlotte Morris- Breeden and Aja Long; three brothers, Joseph Morris, Christopher Morris, and Andre Morris and four very special friends, Shaudae, Sam, Michelle and Rose. She also leaves to mourn her passing her grandmother Grace Myrick, several aunts, uncles and a host of other
 

loving family members and friends. Kathy was a calm and beautiful light in the lives of all that knew her. Family and friends will re-unite to celebrate Kathy's life on Thursday, May 12, 2016 at 12:00 noon at the place of her re-internment located at Meadow Ridge Memorial Gardens, 7250 Washington Blvd. Elkridge, MD 21075. This service was officiated by Pastor Dr. Dreamer L. Brown and concluded with the releasing of balloons. Guest are asked to wear bright pretty colors. Join us in our future efforts to create a legacy in her memory with The Katherine Morris Military Spouse Protection Act.

Original funeral services were handled by Briscoe Tonic Funeral Home and officiated by Pastor Roderick McClanahan of First Missionary Baptist Church

Re-internment handled by Charles Memorial Gardens and Brinsfield Funeral Home in St. Mary's County.

Reburial handled by Gary L. Kaufman Funeral Home at Meadowridge Memorial Park, 7250 Washington Blvd. Elkridge, Maryland and officiated by Dr. Dreamer L. Brown of Christian Deliverance Ministries.
